I'm not sure if I've met you before, but I enjoyed these haiku, and also your webpage!
With your first one, I feel tired just reading it...what a lot of wood to chop!
(It brings back memories...of many many years ago.)
And the hummingbird is startling...to see them still around when it's frosty must be quite unusual!
